My passion is Color Guard and dance. I plan on trying out for The Cavaliers in November, I'm flying all the way from Nevada to Illinois for two days or auditions. My reason for doing this is quite simple, my old coach Peter. I could see the passion in his eye for guard and I could see that he was more then good enough to make a DCI drum corp no problem. He didn't choose to go that path for his reasons and for that, I am doing it. The first person I will tell will be him because I want him to know that he coached someone into one of the best guards in the world. I only wish he could audition with me and be there to find out that he made it. His story gives me strength and hope that things will get better for me.
